Why a "Permanent University"?
At each edition of the Defence Summer University, workshop discussions are a much-appreciated opportunity to exchange ideas. That is why we have decided to extend these discussions beyond the annual event itself, by creating the permanent University. It takes the form of work meetings with one meeting per workshop, from May to July.
The five workshops programmed for this year's edition will discuss issues as varied as dialogue between Government and Industries, today and ten years from now, political, military and industrial cooperation, technological choices, from research to the final product, emerging countries at the heart of international competition, and a comprehensive approach to systems.
- Dialogue between Government and Industries, today and 10 years from now
- Political military and industrial cooperation
- Technological choices, from Research to the Final Product
- Emerging countries at the heart of international competition
- A comprehensive approach to systems
These meetings make it possible to confront the positions of each of our contributors and to identify the key issues that will be focal themes of the discussions during the 9th Summer University. Your presence is therefore valuable for several reasons. Through your participation, you will effectively contribute to the entire thought process as well as to the success of our exchanges on 5 and 6 September. TO REGISTER
The Permanent University in pace with current Defence issues
As an extension of the Defence Summer University, the objective of the Permanent University is also to keep you informed and to post qualified information online, as a contribution to the Workshops. The NEWS section is devoted to this information. It is coordinated by the CEIS experts in charge of each Workshop.
